FileStorm and FileStorm Pro are easy to use tools designed to quickly package and deliver OS X software products. They make it faster and easier than ever to create installers and disk images for electronic distribution of software.

FileStorm and FileStorm Pro are built from the ground up as Unix/OS X Aqua applications and take advantage of the latest advancements in OS X to offer a rich WYSIWYG visual user interface to create customized disk image files (.dmg files) for delivering software products via the Internet. In addition, the built-in CD burning capabilities allow the developer to seamlessly create CD-ROMs from disk images. The developer has the capability to easily customize the look and feel of their disk images with customized backgrounds, icon placement, and more. The fully visual interface allows the developer to see exactly how their disk image will look in real-time.

For software installations that require more than drag and drop delivery, there's FileStorm Pro. FileStorm Pro has all the functionality of FileStorm, plus it includes powerful tools to create installers which fully utilize the Aqua user interface in OS X. The installers can be customized with read me files, license agreements, multimedia files, and much more.

FileStorm is designed to be open and extensible. Project files are stored as plain text XML files that are self-documenting and can easily be edited (or even created) by hand. This makes it a snap to integrate with source code control systems. The installers created by FileStorm Pro are Cocoa Application Bundles, and the installer script is a simple plain text XML file that can easily be edited and modified by the developer to extend the functionality of the installer. The possibilities are endless.

FileStorm is fully scriptable and numerous examples are included. Every aspect of the product can be scripted so integration into software development build systems is easy.
