Advanced Installer Properties

With a new FileStorm Installer selected in the project window, show the Property Inspector. In the Property Inspector, click the popmenu just below the installer icon and select Advanced (or from the keyboard type Command-3). This will bring up a window like the one below.

Lauch Scripts Shows the path to the source file. If desired, you may enter a new source file path, or click the icon and make another selection. Launch scripts are executed immediately after the installer is launched. NOTE: Unlike Action Item Scripts and Exit Scripts, Launch Scripts do not have authentication privileges because they are executed prior to authentication.
Parameter Specifies information to pass to the shell script in the form of a variable called '$1'. See Source and Parameter descriptions for the Execute Script action for more info on executing scripts and script parameters.
Exit Script Shows the path to the source file. If desired, you may enter a new source file path, or click the icon and make another selection. Exit Scripts are executed immediately before the installer is terminated.
