Encoding a Disk Image

Encoding takes the current disk image and makes it ready to be placed on an Internet web server. The Encode command is only available when an option has been selected in the Encode Format popmenu from Disk Image Properties, Format Properties. When an option has not been set up in the Disk Image Properties, the Encode button in the toolbar and the Encode Disk Image menu item are disabled.

Do one of the following:

• Click the Encode icon in the Toolbar.
• Select Encode Disk Image from the Project menu.
